During his official visit on January 12-14, 2026, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze met with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The meeting focused on the positive dynamics of the development of bilateral relations between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates, which is facilitated by close political ties. In this context, the special importance of the official visit of the President of the United Arab Emirates to Georgia last year was noted.
During the visit, the Prime Minister also held meetings with the Regional Executive Director of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Mr. Abdulaziz Zayed Al Shamsi, the Founder and CEO of PRYPCO, Mr. Amira Sajwani, the Founder of one of the largest investment companies, DAMAC Properties, Mr. Hussein Sajwani, and the Founder of one of the largest development companies in the world, Eagle Hills, Mr. Mohammed Alabar.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, participated in the Leaders' Dialogue on the topic - The Middle Corridor - Connecting Europe and Asia through Energy, within the framework of the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week.
