Visa Information
Citizens of the United Arab Emirates may enter and stay in Georgia without a visa for one full year. Individuals who hold a visa or residence permit of the United Arab Emirates may enter and stay in Georgia without a visa for 90 calendar days in any 180-day period.
Citizens and Residents of the UAE - for the purpose of entering and staying in Georgia without visa, a residence permit (visa or the UAE Residence visa -Emirates ID) of a respective country shall be valid on the day of entry into and departure from Georgia, which must be evidenced by the valid National Passport or other valid appropriate travel document (Passport needs to be valid minimum 90 days).
Except citizens of the countries listed below will be allowed to enter Georgia without visa for 90 calendar days in any 180-day period based on visa and/or a residence permit of the United Arab Emirates, only if the mentioned visa is multiple-entry and as of the date of entry to Georgia (crossing the border) validity period of the visa and/or a residence permit is not less than 1 year, which must be evidenced by a travel and/or other appropriate document.
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Ghana, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen

Visa requirements: (copies of each document should be in English and uploaded as scanned form(pdf))
* For Visa requests it is mandatory to visit at the Embassy consular section on the appointment time secured on the calendar
- Applicant’s Passport or Travel Document;
- Applicant’s UAE Residence visa (Emirates ID);
- Travel or health insurance (must cover excidents above 30 000 gel and the period of the visit);
- Proof of accommodation;
- Return flight ticket;
- Proof of bank statement for last 3 months;
- Visa fee payment receipt indicating applicant's name (The service tariff is 20 USD/ 75 AED);
On the receipt it is mandatory to be visible Applicant’s Name and payment details (Amount, Date and Transaction Number).
- Visa application filled, printed, (signed by applicant on last page), scanned and attached back in the system
Note: In case of the applicant is under 18, a copy of the parents' Passport and consent letter should be uploaded in the system along with other documents.
*Kindly note that you have to create a separate application for each family member with separate payment.

Immigration visas of the following categories shall be issued:
- D1 category – to individuals arriving in Georgia to conduct labor activities; representatives and consultants of companies and firms who travel to Georgia to perform their official duties; aliens entering Georgia to work under concluded contracts; individuals arriving in Georgia to carry out entrepreneurial activity under the Law of Georgia on Entrepreneurs;
- D3 category – to persons arriving in Georgia to study or conduct research in or at the premises of authorized educational institutions in Georgia; persons arriving in Georgia to study under international programmers;
- D4 category – to persons arriving in Georgia for family reunification;
- D5 category – to persons who, under the procedure established by the legislation of Georgia, have the right of ownership of real property within the territory of Georgia (other than agricultural land) with its market value exceeding USD 100 000 equivalent in Georgian Lari, and to his/her spouse and child/children. To grant D5 immigration visa, the market value of the real property shall be established by a certified assessor of a body accredited by the Legal Entity under Public Law – the Georgian Unified National Accreditation Body - Georgian Accreditation Centre.
Embassy of Georgia in the UAE is eligible to receive visa applications only from:
- Holders of valid UAE Residence visa (Emirates ID) or valid multi-entry UAE visa. Validity of both Residence visa and Multi-Entry Visa have to exceed three month to the duration of the requested dates of Georgian Visa;
Final decision to cross the border is made by the Georgian Immigration Authority.
