Consular Legalization

In order to start processing your application for Consular Legalization of a document issued in the United Arab Emirates, an applicant must apply through the link: https://geoconsul.gov.ge/en/consular-services

* No need to book an appointment via calendar at the Embassy for the legalisation procedures

Documents to be attached: 

(copies of each document should be uploaded as scanned form (pdf))

1. Original Document in English (legally translated if in Arabic) stamped and signed by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA);
2. E-application filled, printed, (signed by applicant on last page), scanned and attached back in the system;
3. Applicant’s Passport;
4. Applicant’s Residence Visa copy and Emirates ID copy;
5. Consular fee payment receipt indicating applicant's name (56 AED, equivalent of 15 USD) in English.

Once above mentioned steps are completed, applicant must submit copies of all the documents and original documents at the Embassy (Sending documents via post is also available, however, applicant shall bear Postal fees for delivery and collection).

1. Original Document in English (legally translated if in Arabic) stamped and signed by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA);
2. Printed copy of each Original Document to be legalized;
3. Printed copy of E-application, signed by the applicant;
4. Applicant’s Passport copy;
5. Applicant’s Residence Visa and Emirates ID copy;
6. Printed copy of the payment receipt indicating applicant's name.

Legalization process requires up to 10 working days since Original document and required printed copies reach the Embassy of Georgia in the UAE. Once Legalized applicant will receive Phone call or e-mail notification from the Embassy to arrange collection.

*Documents Submission and Collection is only possible on Modays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10AM to 12PM.
